I must be doing something very wrong because the harder I try to make money as a freelancer, the less I earn. Most days all I seem to do is write, and I am quickly being burnt out. Writing used to be fun, but now I find myself at a loss on what to fill at least seven articles a day with. Some are SEO while some are not all seem to be boring. It seems like a vicious circle. I am too old to keep on it any longer.

I have been doing short stories for a few months, which I love. However, with grammar issues I cannot sell them although I have tried. I cannot spend the time to edit them where they are sellable because I have to write for a living, which further complicates things. If I have the money elsewhere, I can stop this circus and focus on my love of short stories.

I have taken a full time job working for one of the biggest department chains in the
United States. I will use my off time to write my short stories and novels. Who knows perhaps next year you will see a novel with my name on it.
