myspace friends

Published by amybrowne under General Edit This

Why do you need many myspace friends?  That answer is simply if you play mobsters, mafia wars, heroes, out world or any of the other hundreds of games out there. Myspace friends are good for other things too. Sit back while I share the benefits with you today.

Myspace friends are a great way to socialize if you are into talking on instant messengers. Yes, there is a great instant messenger there for those who enjoy instant messengers.  Truthfully you can never have too many friends in real life or even online.

Most people assume myspace friends will bring untold dangers, while perhaps this might be the case there are many good things about this social networking site. Like anything else, you just need to be careful who you talk to, and what you do.

Myspace friends are also great if you want to kick butt in some of those role-playing games out there. Trust me without tons of friends in your alliances, clans, crew, or mobs you will not succeed at all in those games.

Since I put up my first myspace mobsters, article just two months ago I have seen myspace friends jump from a pitiful 101 to over 2000 which is unreal. I wish I could add some sort of advertising to I could be paid over there. I would be making out like a bandit.  Trust me I have between 50 and 100 friend adds a day, sometimes it is more or less, but people are always visiting.

I used to blog out there, about the type of stuff that occurred at work, at the nursing home. Perhaps I should bring some of that over here and you will see what myspace friends know about me that you do not.

Let go and Let God

“Let go and Let God” is the old saying. How true it was back when it was first uttered, as well as today. Letting go and letting God take control is a positive thing to do, and it shows no weakness.

We have all had times within our lives, where we have had to let go of the worries and let God handle it for us. He knows the path we are on, always yet we do not know this path. So let go and let God handle the crap for you.

Times of trail and tribulation occur to each of us and it is human nature for us to think the worst when it happens. It is human nature for us to think the worst, I know, as I have been there my self.

This crap as we call it makes us stronger people. By letting go, and letting God carry us it helps us in many ways. Stress is never a good thing. It makes it much harder for us to recover from a major illness and serves no real purpose. Therefore, you need to let go and let god handle the worries. Do what you can, but allow God to take your burdens.

In my own times of trial and tribulation I have bounced back to become stronger. In all cases, the words let go and let God were uttered. Let us face it; life tosses crap in our paths. If we worried about everything then some days, that is all we would do.

Scientists have proven that stress has proven to make medical issues much worse. Worrying if you will get that promotion at work does you not good if you sit and stress out about it. Instead, let go and let God handle it

Worrying about passing a test at school, if your baby will get well soon or even if you will ever marry does not make sense if you just sit there and worry. Get up crack a book, take the baby to the doctor, get out, and date. Take action if you desire a fruitful outcome. Taking no action stacks, the deck against you, trust me on this. Stop the worry. Let go and let God take care of it while you help yourself.

Trust me if you help yourself god will help you by taking the stress. It does not matter if you call God a him or her, Allah, Buddha or your higher power will help you just the same, if you let go and let God.

A great writer’s group

Working from home, for multiple content sites is fun but I miss the socialization that comes from having co-workers. Co-workers that you can bounce ideas off, or simply to talk with as I did when I worked as a nurse’s aide. I found such a place Accentuate writers’ forum two months ago and I am so glad I did. I have found such encouragement in there it has been unreal and I am spreading my wings as a writer.

Since I have been a member of this group, Accentuate writers’ forum, I have spread my wings as far as writing the short stories. I have submitted a few pieces to print magazines.  The people within this group have accepted me into the fold and have allowed me to be me.  I am free to ask writing questions, even the silly ones without fear that others will laugh at me in the forums.

I encourage anyone who is sitting out there behind a computer monitor working alone and missing co-workers to pop in and see what this group Accentuate writers’ forum is like.  You will find so many people like yourself writing for a living and you will find encouragement as well for many things, and share some laughs. Michy our fearless leader is a published writer, and is there to help the rest of us get to where she is. Come on over and meet some friends at Accentuate Writer’s forum  you will see the link tot he forum on the left hand side.

My writing inspirations

Published by amybrowne under Inspirational Edit This

Who inspired you to write if you are a writer? Looking back you will no doubt see a path of people who inspired you, each taking you further into your dream. It is like that in every job, and every aspect of our lives.

For me, it was Miss Thomas back in the grade eight who got me going and later Mrs., Ronsvalle encouraged me further.  Friends who always seen me writing in those early notebooks, encouraged me, then I got away from the writing as my children were born.  I missed writing and I am glad I chose to come back. As more people locally read my stuff I am further encouraged to write more, and yes I thank them for the motivation.

Miss Thomas told me to write from the heart back then, and I wish I could remember her married name so that I could say hey look at me now. I could tell her that there are almost 2,000 articles out here on the Internet with my name on them. I could tell her that that book dream I had long ago is coming together so many years ago.

While I may not be making the big bucks yet, perhaps some day I will be. I finally am living a dream where I can work at home, be paid for it and truthfully I love my job. In addition, writing is not a job it is an adventure.

Whose life did you touch today?

Published by amybrowne under Inspirational Edit This

Do you ever stop to think of the lives that you touch? Too many times, we are caught up in the daily grind of our lives and are miserable. One of the surest ways to be cheered up  is to have someone whose life you have touched in a positive way tell you how much your influence and actions have inspired them, encouraged them or otherwise made them feel good about themselves.

We all have that certain person within our lives that have touched us, and helped shape us into whoever we are at this very minute. Perhaps multiple people have touched you in small ways that have helped shape you into the person you are now.

Different people will cross into our paths and make us realize that we can change our lives into something that suited us better. One person can inspire us to make a change, and we meet others along that path that will propel us even further into becoming happier within our life.

Stop and think about this for a minute, which person inspired you in your career choice? Did you ever thank that person?  If you were happy in your choice, you would have thanked them.  It is never a good idea to thank someone for getting you into a job you necessarily do not like. Instead, look for the new person to inspire you to change that job into something you do enjoy.

Inspirational story getting out of the confort zone

Published by amybrowne under Inspirational Edit This

Once upon a time, there was a meek little woman who did as her husband told her. She was quite passive, and did everything without voicing her opinion on anything. She was a friendly person and would give the shirt off her back, as she was raised to do by her parents. She took care of her children, which she had in quick succession.  She spent all day taking care of three little children a newborn, a toddler and a preschooler while her husband worked from sun up until it set. All three children would be sleeping when their daddy went to work and again when he came home. So was the pattern six days a week.

Flash forward ten years and that baby is in fifth grade, the toddler is now in seventh grade and the preschooler is now in 9th grade. The wife finally grew some balls and is in college was getting the education she deserves. The dad/husband has had several jobs, and is drinking alcohol quite often.

Guess what the wife is not passive any longer. She is realizing there is much more to life out there then she could have imagined. Husband does not like wife getting smart and changing as much as the wife hates him drinking all the time.  Husband and wife begin fighting, kids hear this quite often. Mom graduated from college and husband moves on to playing the field. Mom tells husband to take a flying leap when she finds out about his playing the field, and mom begins a solo life of child rearing. Is she really beginning or has she done this all the time?

Do not judge the wife, for as she was taking care of her children and going to school, she grew a backbone. This just goes to show you that anything is possible when you put your mind to it. If life is not going the way you want it too, change it. It truly is simple as that, and this is my story.

Do you need a domain name?

Published by amybrowne under General Edit This

If you are in business, you need a domain name that is easy to remember, one that stays on the minds of your customer as well as their fingertips so that your web site is easily found.  You want your customers to remember your domain name as you remember the more memorable domain names you have been to.

The key to a memorable domain name is simply; keep it basic so that it is easy for your customers to remember. You want customers to automatically type in your domain name, and not have to resort to a search engine where the potential to loose these customers is greatly increased.  Yes, you pay more for those domain names but it will be cost effective for you to have a memorable name.

You need that domain name to reflect your business, and the domain name should be the name of your business. For any business, you might imagine there are millions of listings on the Internet and some have the same name as your business.

The best option is to purchase the exact name of your business so it is memorable but also you do not lose any customers or clients.  If it is a business domain, adding a first name such as JHenderson.com allows the customer to assume that it is a personal site if they need to search for it, but adding the entire business name such as HendersonInsurance.com tells your customers exactly what type of business you to and it is easy to remember.

Customers assume a dot com is business, while a dot org is an organization, so do not try to save money by purchasing another type of domain, You want a dot com rather then the other types of domain names because a dot com says that your site is a business. Do not settle for less, because purchasing a domain name that is similar to your business name will cost your customers and it will eventually hurt your bottom line.

benefits of keeping a journal

Published by amybrowne under General Edit This

Journaling is a great way to express those pent up emotions, thoughts, and feelings that dwell within a body. Journaling can very well be a great stress reliever too many people yet most people chose not to write down these feelings. Instead, they keep those feelings inside where that stress becomes tension headaches, heart attacks, and other health related maladies. Many people find writing down his or her inner most thoughts easier then telling a close friend, and this is great while you can be assured that your journal is not seen by anyone else. Perhaps those people who do not journal are not sure what to write in a journal. On your next trip to your local department or grocery store pick up a large notebook and a special pen or pencil. Truthfully, any pen or pencil will work but having a special one may be the incentive someone new to journals needs. If you dislike writing on paper, you can keep a journal on your computer. This way the benefits of journals can be started as quickly as you head to the computer. You can use any word processing program to begin a journal.Write in the journal as if you are speaking to a friend, most people who do journal find it easier to write like that. Some people even name their Journal, while some people simply begin each entry with dear friend. It does not matter what you call your journal, as long at you write in it that is all that matters. Find the time in your busy schedule each day to write in this journal, even if you can only find five minutes a day. Five minutes of stress relief daily is better then no time, on that I am sure we can all agree. Just as food is good for our bodies, writing in a journal is good for our brains. One bonus to journals that some people never stop to think about s that is can be used as a relationship or health meter. When you write in a journal, write how you think that day, emotionally and physically. Months down the road, when you read over those earlier entries in the journal, you will notice that there are some patterns. Patterns between stress and your health or your health and certain activities, and this is how I found out what was causing so many migraines for me over the years.

myspace mobsters motivation

Published by amybrowne under Motivation Edit This

Motivation to write more on associated content is much needed. A few months back I wrote some  myspace mobster articles.  The page views that they bring in are quite unreal, this I why I keep writing them. I used to be one of those content producers who struggled with $60-$80 dollars in page views.

Now with the myspace mobster articles they are adding quite a bit. One thing is for sure that game is quite popular among all age groups, and nationalities.  I love those page views and I have two of those articles closing in on 100,000 views in just two short months.  In September for last month’s page views from the myspace mobster articles, paid my house payment ($410 and the natural gas bill). That means I do not have to work so hard to pay the other bills. I am over half way there for the house payment again and it is such a relief.

I just happened to hit on a hot search term (myspace mobster) and luckily I key worded them properly. Now if only I could get the page views from ehow, and helium up that far to at least pay one bill a month. That would be excellent.  One thing is for certain I will keep writing those myspace mobster articles!

Motivation to feel better

Published by amybrowne under Motivation Edit This

I need motivation to write but until I am feeling better, I will not be writing.  I have added 4 to my cue and self-published one article over at associated content, but I just do not have the ambition to create anymore.  My usual thing this week has been six a day over at associated content,  1 a day for helium’s market place, and 2 blog posts, but I only wrote the four plus these blog posts.

The flu bug seems to do that to you. To tell you the truth it has been here in the house for a few days, and I am the last to succumb to the horrors of it all. I will be headed to bed after this post with a fuzzy comforter today life sucks and motivation is nonexistent.
